Hardcore trio Sick Puppy came together at the height of the pandemic when Iso McKenna, Jacob Cherwick & Allison Graves found themselves stuck together in a downtown St. John’s house. Together they crafted a collection of songs that, while drawing from a vast set of influences, all centre around a desire for minimal flair & maximum rock & roll. Their debut EP Haunt The Hill was released in late 2022 and the band spent 2023 touring Canada in support, including dates at Calgary’s Sled Island, Fredericton’s Flourish Festival & Lawnya Vawnya in St. John’s.
