Nectar Collective is a queer DJ collective founded in Kjipuktuk (Halifax), in the unceded Mi’kmaq territory of Mi'kma'ki (Nova Scotia) in the summer of 2023 by Anita Chastanet, Cher Hann, and Annah-Lauren Bloom. Since its inception, Nectar has quickly established itself as a fixture in both the Halifax music scene and queer community alike. As DJs, they strive to share exciting, hyper-charged and unexpected sounds, with a focus on experimental and underground subgenres as well as their own music production.

Anita: Born in St. Lucia and raised in Tkaronto/Toronto, aniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiita is a Kjipuktuk/Halifax based open format, genre melting girlie. Known for high-energy, dark, and slutty sets, expect a blend of techno, world club, jersey, ghetto tech, pop remixes etc etc. She is one of the founders of Nectar Collective, the bbs bringing you SLURP.

Annah: DJ Decision has spent the last few years playing parties big and small, bringing queer sonic XXXtasy to the dance floors of Kjipuktuk (Halifax) alongside her fellow members of Nectar. Packed with wonky sounds and sexy bangers, her playful multi-genre sets are guaranteed to keep the dancefloor fun and freaky ;~)
